configure pim timer <hello_interval> <jp_interval> [{vlan} <vlan_name> |

Configures the global PIM timers on specified VLAN(s).

Syntax Description

• hello_interval—30 seconds.

• jp_interval—60 seconds.

Usage Guidelines

The following command configures the global PIM timers on the VLAN accounting:

configure pim timer 150 300 vlan accounting

hello_interval Specifies the amount of time before a hello message is sent out by the PIM

router. The range is 1 to 65,519 seconds.

jp_interval Specifies the join/prune interval. The range is 1 to 65,519 seconds.

vlan_name Specifies a VLAN name.

all Specifies all VLANs.
