configure iproute add <ip_address> <mask> <gateway> {multicast-only |

unicast-only | vr <vrname>}

Adds a static address to the routing table.

Syntax Description

The default VR is VR-2.

Usage Guidelines

Use a value of 255.255.255.255 for mask to indicate a host entry.

The following command adds a static address to the routing table:

configure iproute add 10.1.1.0/24 123.45.67.1 5

ip_address Specifies an IP address.

mask Specifies a subnet mask.

gateway Specifies a VLAN gateway.

metric Specifies a cost metric.

vrname Specifies the virtual router to which the route is added.
