Using the Inventory Manager

2 To select a device from a specific device group, select the device group from the
pull-down list in the Filter by Device Group field. Select All to view the list of all
devices from all device groups.
3 Select one or more devices in the Devices list, and click Delete.
4 Click OK to confirm that you want to delete the device information from the database.
Deleting a device removesthe information about the device from the EPICenter database.
This means that the device can no longer be monitored and managed from the EPICenter
application. If the device is an Extreme switch, deleting it removes any SmartTraps rules,
both from the database and the switch change table. It also removes all information about
VLANs, QoS Policy, and Virtual Chassis connections associatedwith this switch from the
EPICenterdatabase.
Deleting a device from EPICenter has no effect on the configuration of the device
itself.
